Welcome to Fishing.ie, a newly launched online community covering all aspects of angling and fishing in Ireland. This site aims to cater for anglers of all persuasions including Game, Coarse and Sea fishing. Ireland has a vast expanse of quality waters, covering a multitude of species of fish and attracting visitors from all around the globe. Even for local anglers, it can often be hard to find up-to-date information on the best places to fish, what waters are fishing well, what methods are working and who to get in touch with for local knowledge.

This site is free to join and provides its members with facilities to discuss their angling passion or pose questions on the fishing forums, post photos of their latest catch, add a article (like this) or fishing report to the blogs or provide links to their YouTube, hulu, vimeo or fishing videos.

If you’re a member of a fishing club, why not set up a fishing group for your club and post club related events, discussions, photos etc. The site provides fishing groups and clubs you with the option to make membership and visibility of the group’s content either public or private. The group creator is in control.

Several fishing events and competitions are held over the fishing season each year in Ireland. If you’re the organiser of a fishing event, why not expand your audience by posting the fishing event details on the Events page.
