declan murray said… hey john, yes it was lough ree,that fish was very slack couldve been near 7lb if was filled out, no their not always that colour, the colours vary a good bit, the typical cronin would be more popular i suppose, but the 3lb 13oz one was got this yr not far from the inny (saints island to be precise)and im guessing it came from the river, got a few in that area all similar colour and spots etc,
site is cool, and i'm sure the membership will grow!! best of luck with it anyway..
